About the job:
Members of the Grassy team are responsible for multiple roles in the shop from cashier to beverage maker to food prep, all the while, creating and maintaining a clean, functional, organized workspace. We are passionate about healthy cuisine & promoting healthy living and well-being.
This position is part-time and based in our new North Beverly location. This role will report to the Store Manager.
You will:
Deliver impeccable hospitality to our guests and your fellow teammates
Operate the cash register in a friendly and accurate manner
Be knowledgeable of all menu items
Have an understanding of food allergies and a variety of diets
Create hot and cold beverages (juices and smoothies) at drinks station according to recipes
Assist in food prep as needed
Follow recipe guidelines and sanitation procedures
Support the team in keeping the cafe running smoothly and beautifully. This may include washing dishes, sweeping, cleaning, and organizing take-out station, taking out trash and compost, managing deliveries, organizing and displaying merchandise
You are:
Hospitality driven
Motivated to put others before yourself
Comfortable with following directions and problem-solving when needed
Capable of thinking on your feet and multi-tasking
Diligent, humble, and open-minded
Reliable and consistent so that teammates and managers can always depend on you
Creative and fun in your approach to healthy eating and living
You have:
2 Years of prior work experience, preferably retail/food service
Means of transportation

$15/hr defined as base wage plus tips
